Bake sale- Nov 27 10 A.M. -2 P.M. - Outside E/CS
We would like volunteers for 30 minute periods and some wonderful baked goods! Anyone who helps will get a discount on their Golden Compass tickets in December! Email Metaforum President Kelsey Bates (bates@ksu.edu) to let her know what you want to donate! The more people we have to work, the less time we need everyone to work, so sign on up!
Game Break- Nov 27 4 P.M. -5 P.M. - E/CS 019A
We have a lovely tradition in Metaforum to relieve the pressures of finals, and allow English majors of all tracts to interact and challenge each other. This is our wonderful Game Break. We're going to play some great games and sell the left over baked goods at half price! So come have some fun with your fellow writers and literary geniuses!
Golden Compass- December 7th - Seth Child Cinema
Yes, the release of Golden Compass is speedily approaching! Right now, talks are underway with Carmike Cinema to see if we can pre-order our tickets as a group, but we need to know how many are going, so please e-mail one of the officers to let us know. If you forget to let us know, you can still individually purchase your ticket and go to the discussion afterwards! We're trying to find a place to go after the movie to discuss it. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!
And one final reminder: If you are not on our listserv, let Kelsey Bates (bates@ksu.edu) know so she can get you on!
